Description
When your International 560 or 660 starts burning oil, using more fuel than it should, or just doesn’t pull like it used to, those cylinders and pistons are telling you they’ve seen enough hard work. Cold morning starts that take forever and blue smoke on startup are sure signs it’s time for more than just a tune-up. This basic in-frame kit gets your trusted IH back to pulling strong without the expense and downtime of a complete engine teardown.

Built for Real Farm Work
This kit is designed specifically for the 560 and 660 series International Harvester tractors—machines that built their reputation handling everything from heavy tillage and planting to loader work and PTO operations. These six-cylinder gas engines were built to run all day in tough conditions, and with this rebuild kit, you’ll get many more years of dependable service from your IH.
Made to Last
Tru-Power has been making engine rebuild components for farm tractors for decades, and they know what it takes to handle the constant vibration, heat cycles, and heavy loads that farm work demands. These aren’t bargain parts—they’re engineered to meet or exceed original International Harvester specifications and built to last season after season.
Installation Notes
This is a basic in-frame rebuild, which means you’ll be working with the engine still mounted in the tractor. You’ll need to remove the cylinder head and oil pan, but the engine block stays put. Plan on having the cylinders bored and honed at a machine shop if needed, and check bore condition before ordering to ensure standard size components will work for your application.
