Description
When your old International Harvester is burning oil or getting hard to start, it’s probably time for an engine rebuild. A tired engine with worn cylinders and rings just can’t deliver the power you need for field work. This basic overhaul kit gives you the core components to get that 123 cubic inch gas engine running like new again without breaking the bank.
What You’re Getting
- Complete cylinder sleeves and seals to restore proper compression and stop oil burn
- New pistons and rings matched to the 3-1/4 inch overbore for maximum power
- Wrist pins, retainers, and bushings for smooth piston operation
- Full gasket set and crankshaft seals to eliminate leaks
- Stepped-head pistons designed specifically for your IH engine
Built for Real Farm Work
This kit fits the workhorses of the International Harvester lineup from the 1940s and 50s—the Super A and Super AV cultivating tractors, the Super C row-crop machines, and the compact 100 and 200 series utility tractors. These were the tractors that helped thousands of farmers transition from horses to modern mechanized farming, handling everything from plowing to harvesting.
Made to Last
Tru-Power builds these components to handle the demands of agricultural work. The sleeves are made from quality cast iron that’ll stand up to years of heavy use, while the pistons and rings are engineered to maintain proper seal and compression even under load.
Installation Notes
This is a basic kit, so you’ll need to source your own bearings separately if yours need replacement. The overbore pistons mean you’ll need to have your cylinders bored to 3-1/4 inches if they aren’t already. Most machine shops can handle this work, and the stepped-head design makes for a straightforward installation.
