Description
When something breaks in the middle of harvest or planting season, you don’t have time to haul everything back to the shop for a major repair. This J-B Weld KwikWeld gives you the strength of steel in a fast-setting epoxy that bonds to metal, wood, concrete, and most plastics. With a 6-minute working time and full cure in just 4-6 hours, you can get back to work the same day instead of waiting around for days.
What You’re Getting
- Quick-setting formula with 6 minutes of working time – perfect for emergency repairs
- Steel-reinforced bond that’s stronger than many welds when fully cured
- Works on metal, wood, concrete, ceramic, and most plastics
- Two separate 1-oz tubes keep the epoxy fresh until you need it
- Temperature resistant from -67°F to 300°F – handles both winter cold and summer heat
Built for Real Farm Work
This epoxy tackles everything from cracked implement brackets and broken PTO shields to split hydraulic fittings and damaged toolboxes. Whether you’re dealing with cast iron, steel, aluminum, or even plastic components, KwikWeld bonds to it. It’s especially handy for fixing loader bucket cracks, mending fence posts, or patching fuel tanks when you need a repair that won’t fail under pressure.
Made to Last
Once cured, this stuff is tough as nails. The steel reinforcement gives it incredible strength – up to 3960 PSI tensile strength when fully set. It resists vibration, impact, and the constant stress that farm equipment dishes out. Plus it’s waterproof and chemical resistant, so hydraulic fluid, diesel fuel, and weather won’t break down the bond.
Good to Know
Mix equal parts from both tubes on a clean surface – a piece of cardboard works fine. You’ve got about 6 minutes to apply it before it starts to set, so work efficiently but don’t rush. Clean the repair area first with a wire brush or sandpaper to get good adhesion. The repair will be strong enough to handle light loads in about an hour, but wait the full 4-6 hours before putting it under real stress.
