Installation Notes

Resealing your hydraulic system is a perfect winter shop project. Start by thoroughly cleaning the outside of all components – you don’t want dirt falling into open hydraulic lines. Clean each O-ring groove carefully with a pick or small screwdriver – old O-ring fragments left behind cause comeback leaks. Use a bit of hydraulic fluid on new O-rings during installation; never force them. Take your time during disassembly and mark the piston position so everything goes back together exactly right.
