Description
When you’re out there running equipment hard—whether it’s a Case excavator moving dirt, a Takeuchi skid steer loading feed, or a Yanmar-powered machine working around the farm—clean oil is what keeps everything running smooth. This Baldwin B7487 oil filter does the heavy lifting to trap the dirt, metal particles, and combustion byproducts that try to turn good oil into engine-killing sludge.
What You’re Getting
- Anti-drainback valve keeps oil in the filter when you shut down, so you get instant lubrication on startup
- 20 PSID bypass valve ensures oil keeps flowing even if the filter gets plugged with debris
- Compact 3 7/16 inch length with 3 1/32 inch outer diameter fits tight engine compartments
- M20 x 1.5 metric thread matches factory specifications for secure mounting
- Quality Baldwin construction that stands up to vibration and pressure fluctuations
Built for Real Equipment Work
This filter handles a wide range of machinery from Case construction equipment to Komatsu excavators, Takeuchi compact machines, and Yanmar-powered equipment. Whether you’re running a compact excavator for drainage work, operating a skid steer around the farmyard, or putting hours on utility equipment, this filter protects your engine when you need it most.
Made to Last
Baldwin has been making filters for decades, and they know what it takes to keep an engine protected in demanding conditions. The robust filter media captures contaminants while maintaining proper oil flow, and the sturdy construction handles the temperature swings and vibration that come with heavy equipment operation.
Installation Notes
This is a direct spin-on replacement that installs in minutes. Before threading on the new filter, wipe a thin coat of clean oil on the gasket, then hand-tighten only until the gasket contacts the mounting surface plus 3/4 turn. Over-tightening just makes the next change harder and can damage the seal.
