Description
Water in your diesel fuel is like sand in your gearbox – it’s going to cause problems sooner than later. Whether it’s condensation from temperature changes or contamination during fuel delivery, water can destroy expensive injection components and leave you with a truck or van that won’t start when you need it most. This Baldwin fuel/water separator catches both water and debris before they can reach your engine’s sensitive fuel system.
What You’re Getting
- Dual-stage filtration that removes both particles and water from your diesel fuel

- 6 3/8 inch length provides ample filtration capacity for reliable fuel flow

Built for Real Work
This separator fits Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana vans from 2012-2016, plus Silverado and Sierra pickups from 2001-2016 with the 6.6L turbo diesel engine. These are the work trucks that haul trailers, carry heavy loads, and put in long miles for contractors, farmers, and fleet operators who depend on reliable diesel power.
Made to Last
Baldwin has been building filters for decades, and this separator uses quality media that handles the demanding conditions diesel fuel faces. The sturdy housing withstands vibration and pressure fluctuations, while the precision-engineered threads ensure a leak-free seal that keeps fuel where it belongs.
Good to Know
Replace this filter according to your maintenance schedule or when the water-in-fuel warning light comes on. Before installing, make sure the mounting surface is clean and apply a thin film of clean diesel fuel to the gasket. Hand-tighten until the gasket contacts the mounting surface, then turn an additional 3/4 turn – over-tightening can damage the seal.
