When you’re installing or rebuilding a PTO shaft assembly, this little locater pin might seem insignificant, but it’s the piece that keeps everything where it should be. The bolt-on design requires proper torque for secure mounting – use the specified bolt (QTP-53094) and don’t forget the locating pin (QTP-62973) that prevents rotation. Without it, your PTO shaft can shift or rotate, causing vibration, noise, and premature wear that’ll have you tearing things apart again sooner than you’d like.

Installation Notes
This pin works with both 540 and 1000 RPM PTO shaft assemblies on the listed models. Clean the pin bore thoroughly before installation and check that the pin seats fully. Locater Pin 62973 is used with both the 540 RPM shaft (62805) and the 1000 RPM shaft (62806). Remember, you need 2 pins per shaft, so this pack covers one complete assembly.
