Installation Notes
The internal snap ring design makes this kit a bit different from external ring types – the rings sit inside the bearing caps rather than in grooves on the yoke ears. Never reuse old snap rings as they lose tension over time, and if one U-joint has failed, it’s smart to rebuild them all since they wear at similar rates. Clean those yoke bores thoroughly before assembly, and don’t forget to grease the new bearings properly.
