Description
When you notice your engine oil turning black quicker than usual or your hydraulic pressure dropping off, there’s a good chance your oil filter has been working overtime and needs replacing. Clean oil is what keeps those expensive engine parts from wearing out prematurely, especially when you’re putting long hours on your tractor during busy seasons. This Baldwin BT353 filter is built to handle the dust, heat, and vibration that comes with real farm work, keeping your engine protected when you need it most.
What You’re Getting
- Anti-drainback valve that keeps oil in the filter when the engine’s off, so you get instant pressure on startup
- 20 PSID bypass valve that keeps oil flowing even if the filter gets plugged with debris
- Spin-on design with standard 3/4-16 thread size makes installation straightforward with no adapters needed
- 5 27/32 inch length and 3 1/32 inch diameter provide optimal filtration capacity for your tractor’s oil system
- Baldwin builds this filter to handle the temperature swings, vibration, and pressure changes that come with heavy equipment operation
Built for Real Farm Work
This filter works across a wide range of agricultural and construction equipment including Allis Chalmers tractors, Bobcat skid steers and compact equipment, Caterpillar machines, New Holland tractors, Massey Ferguson, and Perkins-powered equipment. Whether you’re running a utility tractor for chores around the farm or a bigger machine for field work, clean oil circulation is critical for reliable operation when you need it most.
Made to Last
Baldwin builds this filter to handle the temperature swings, vibration, and pressure changes that come with heavy equipment operation. The robust construction and quality filter media capture contaminants while maintaining proper oil flow, protecting your engine’s bearings, pistons, and other critical components from premature wear.
Installation Notes
This is a direct spin-on replacement that installs in minutes. Before threading on the new filter, wipe a thin coat of clean oil on the gasket, then hand-tighten only 3/4 turn after the gasket contacts the mounting surface. Over-tightening just makes the next change harder and can damage the seal.
