Description
When you’re pushing 180 horsepower through those long days of fall plowing or spring planting, keeping that turbo diesel engine protected with clean oil is everything. A good oil filter is what stands between your expensive injection pump and all the metal particles and soot that hard work creates. This filter keeps the oil flowing clean so your TW stays running strong season after season.
What You’re Getting
- OEM-quality construction that meets Ford’s original specifications for reliability
- Premium filter media that captures microscopic particles without restricting oil flow
- Heavy-duty canister built to handle the vibration and heat of turbocharged engines
- Anti-drainback valve prevents dry startup by keeping oil in the filter when shut down
- Factory-calibrated bypass valve ensures continuous lubrication even in extreme conditions
Built for Real Farm Work
Ford TW30 and TW35 tractors were built to handle the heaviest field work with their turbocharged 6.6-liter engines putting out serious power for deep tillage, heavy planting, and demanding harvest operations. These are the tractors you see pulling 12-bottom plows through tough ground or running big planters across hundreds of acres. The New Holland 8830 carries on that same tradition of reliable power for commercial farming operations.
Made to Last
Turbocharged diesels are hard on oil filters, creating higher pressures and temperatures than naturally aspirated engines. This filter is built with the heavy-duty construction needed to handle those conditions while maintaining the tight tolerances required for modern injection systems and turbochargers.
Installation Notes
Replace every 250 hours or annually, whichever comes first. Pre-fill the new filter with clean oil before installation to prevent dry startup, and always use the Ford-recommended 15W-40 diesel oil. Hand-tighten the filter until the gasket contacts the mounting surface, then turn an additional 3/4 turn – no need to over-tighten.
