Description
There’s nothing worse than water in your fuel tank when you’re trying to get the crops out or finish a job on deadline. Water contamination in diesel fuel is one of the biggest threats to your tractor’s injection system and can lead to complete fuel system failure that leaves you stranded during critical farming operations. This fuel water separator filter is your first line of defense against moisture and debris that can destroy expensive injectors and fuel pumps.
What You’re Getting
- Advanced filtration technology that removes solid contaminants and separates water from the fuel stream before it can reach your injection pump and injectors
- Protection for expensive diesel injection systems from water damage and premature wear that can cause catastrophic failures costing thousands in repairs
- Advanced pleated media that provides superior contaminant removal while maintaining consistent fuel flow in temperature extremes and high-vibration environments
- Spin-on design that makes regular maintenance quick and clean, encouraging proper filter service
Built for Real Farm Work
Whether you’re dealing with condensation from temperature changes, contaminated fuel deliveries, or water accumulation in storage tanks, this filter removes both water and debris before they can reach your engine’s precision fuel system components. It’s particularly important for tractors operating in dusty field conditions or using fuel from on-farm storage tanks where contamination is more likely, helping prevent costly fuel system repairs and maintaining optimal fuel economy.
Made to Last
Modern diesel injection systems operate at extremely high pressures with very tight tolerances, making them sensitive to both water contamination and fine particles that older engines could tolerate. This filter is especially important with today’s bio fuel blends that are more prone to moisture problems and can be harder on fuel system components, with materials specifically chosen to resist degradation from bio fuel additives while maintaining filtration efficiency throughout its service life.
Installation Notes
Install in the fuel line between tank and injection pump with flow direction arrow pointing toward engine, mount securely to prevent vibration damage, and ensure easy access for service. Drain water regularly from separator bowl and replace filter element according to maintenance schedule to maintain optimal performance. Check for water accumulation regularly, especially during periods of high humidity, and prime the fuel system properly after filter changes to avoid air pockets that can cause hard starting.
