Description
When you’re wiring up work lights, hydraulic solenoids, or any heavy-duty electrical connections on your tractor, you need connections that’ll hold up to the vibration, moisture, and heat that farm equipment dishes out. These heat shrink connectors give you a weatherproof seal that keeps corrosion out while making a solid electrical connection that won’t come loose when you’re bouncing through the field.
What You’re Getting
- Six heavy-duty black connectors designed for 1/2 inch wire applications
- Heat shrink sleeve creates a waterproof seal that protects against moisture and corrosion
- Crimped connection provides maximum conductivity and won’t work loose from vibration
- Heavy-duty construction handles the demanding electrical loads found on farm equipment
- Professional-grade components that match what equipment manufacturers use
Built for Real Farm Work
These connectors are sized for the heavier gauge wiring you’ll find on tractors, combines, and other agricultural equipment. Whether you’re connecting starter cables, work light circuits, or hydraulic valve wiring, they’re built to handle the higher amperage demands of farm machinery while keeping moisture and dirt from causing electrical problems.
Made to Last
The heat shrink sleeve forms a tight, weatherproof seal when heated, creating a connection that’s as good as—or better than—what came from the factory. The black color won’t fade from UV exposure, and the heavy-duty materials resist cracking even in cold weather or extreme heat.
Good to Know
You’ll need a heat gun or lighter to shrink the sleeve after crimping—the heat makes the sleeve contract tightly around the connection. Strip about 3/8 inch of insulation for the best fit, and make sure your crimp tool is rated for the wire gauge you’re using. A little dielectric grease on the connection before shrinking adds extra corrosion protection.
