Description
When you’re working in dusty conditions during cultivation, harvest, or even daily chores around the farm, your engine is constantly fighting to breathe clean air. A clogged or damaged outer air filter lets all that dust and debris straight into your engine, where it acts like sandpaper on expensive internal parts. This Baldwin outer air filter element is the first line of defense, catching the big stuff before it can cause costly engine damage.

Built for Real Farm Work
This filter fits a wide range of agricultural equipment from trusted names like Case, John Deere, Oliver, and White. Whether you’re running a utility tractor for hay operations, a row-crop machine for planting and cultivation, or loader work around the farm, this outer element protects engines that power everything from morning chores to marathon harvest days.
Made to Last
Baldwin has been making filters for decades, and they know what it takes to survive in harsh conditions. The pleated media holds its shape even when loaded with dirt, and the seals stay flexible through temperature swings and vibration. This outer element uses robust filter media and construction designed to handle vibration, temperature swings, and the constant dirt loading that comes with outdoor work.
Installation Notes
This is a direct replacement—no modifications needed. When swapping filters, take a minute to clean out the air box and check for any cracks in the housing or loose clamps. Remember to replace both the outer element and the inner filter PA1996 at the same time for maximum protection. In extremely dusty conditions like tillage or harvest, you might need to change filters more frequently than normal service intervals suggest.
