Installation Notes
You’ll need a 3-inch hole saw or step bit to make the opening if you’re installing this on a new tank. The gasket goes on the inside of the tank, then thread the fitting through from the outside. Hand-tight plus a quarter turn with a wrench is usually plenty—don’t overtighten and risk cracking the threads.
