 104-8310 Pivot Rod is Commonly Used in A Wide Range of Equipment – It’s Primary Purpose is to Retain Select Pivot Rod and Fasteners from Sliding out of Position. 104-8310 is a Push-On Retainer that Is Armed with little Metal Tabs to Restrict it from being Reversed – When Removing the Retaining Rings to Remove Select Hinge Pin the Tabs on the Retaining Ring are often Distorted – Therefore it Often Recommended to Replace 104-8310 Retaining Ring When removing it.
