Description
When you’re making hay, you need your tedder running smooth and reliable—no unexpected stops when moisture levels are just right and time is tight. This Weasler Classic Series driveline transfers power from your tractor’s PTO to your tedder’s rotor assembly, handling all the speed changes and angles that come with working uneven ground. The built-in overrunning clutch protects both your tractor and tedder when things bind up.
What You’re Getting
- Trilobe tubing design handles higher torque loads without the vibration you get with older round tube systems
- Overrunning clutch lets the implement coast when you lift the PTO, preventing sudden stops that can damage gears
- Quick disconnect tractor yoke makes hookup and removal fast—no tools needed for most connections
- 52-inch compressed length fits most mid-size tedders without interference or binding
- Series 2 strength rating handles the power requirements of tedders on tractors up to about 80 HP
Built for Real Farm Work
This driveline is sized for hay tedders that need reliable power transmission while working through windrows and around field edges. The 1-3/8 inch 6-spline connections are the standard for most utility and mid-range tractors, while the implement end fits tedders that use this common spline configuration.
Made to Last
The trilobe profile distributes stress better than round tubing, and the metric construction meets the same standards you’ll find on European hay equipment. Weasler builds these to handle the constant direction changes and varying loads that come with tedding—from light, fluffy hay to heavy, damp windrows.
Good to Know
The overrunning clutch is a one-way bearing that lets the tedder keep spinning when you disengage the PTO, then prevents reverse rotation when you start back up. This protects the gearbox and reduces shock loads. Keep the universal joints greased—most tedder problems come from dried-out U-joints that bind under angle changes.
